How to use
Preparation
Make sure surfaces are dry, clean, and free from dust, dirt, and grease.
Application
1. Unscrew cap or remove the lid of the tin and apply a thin, even coat of impact glue to both surfaces using a spatula, brush, or roller.
2. Allow the impact adhesive to become touch dry. This should take approximately 20 minutes.
3. Align the surfaces carefully and when in place, press together firmly without causing damage.
4. Exert pressure from the centre outwards to exclude any air pockets.
5. The bond is instant; however, the adhesive will achieve full strength over 24 hours.
6. After use, ensure the tin or tube is properly sealed.
Where at least one material is porous, apply a thin coat of impact adhesive to the least porous surface and press the surfaces together immediately. Hold together for a few minutes to allow the bond to form. Do not disturb or test the bond for 24 hours to allow the adhesive to achieve full strength.
How to remove
- Uncured adhesive can be removed with a cloth dampened with EVO-STIK Adhesive Cleaner.
- Cured adhesive may only be removed by mechanical means.

FAQs
Can Impact Adhesive be used to bond vinyl?
No. The plasticiser in vinyl can migrate into EVO-STIK Impact Adhesive over time, causing the adhesive to become soft and sticky. This can weaken the bond and eventually lead to bond failure.
Why has my Impact Adhesive turned to jelly?
EVO-STIK Impact Adhesive has probably been stored at temperatures below 5°C. Allow the adhesive to warm up gradually to room temperature overnight and it should return to its normal consistency and workability.
