How to use
Preparation
1. Work in warm but well-ventilated conditions.
2. Make sure surfaces are dry, clean, and free from dust, dirt, and grease.
3. Work on protected surfaces to guard against overspray.
Application
1. Shake the contact adhesive spray can well before use. Use the adjustable nozzle to select the required spray pattern.
2. Holding the can 12-18 cm away, spray directly onto the surfaces to be bonded and ensure that an even coat is applied to both.
3. Allow the adhesive to become tacky (1 to 3 minutes) and then firmly press the two surfaces together.
4. After use, invert can and expel a small amount of product to clear the nozzle so it’s ready for future use.
How to remove
Both wet and dry adhesive can be removed using the EVO-STIK Impact Adhesive Cleaner or acetone.
We recommend testing sensitive surfaces on a hidden area before cleaning.

What materials can Contact Adhesive Spray be used on?
EVO-STIK Contact Adhesive Spray can be used on a wide range of materials, including wood, metal, ceramics, rigid plastics, glass, leather, cork, hardboard, underfelt, carpet tiles and foam-backed carpets. It can also bond thin polyethylene and polypropylene sheets.
EVO-STIK Contact Adhesive Spray is not suitable for polystyrene, plasticised PVC or vinyl tiles, asphalt, or bituminous materials.
Can Impact Adhesive be used to bond vinyl?
No. The plasticiser in vinyl can migrate into EVO-STIK Impact Adhesive over time, causing the adhesive to become soft and sticky. This can weaken the bond and eventually lead to bond failure.
