How to use
Preparation
Always test the effects of the cleaner on an unseen area to determine its suitability; it may damage some sensitive surfaces.
Ensure good ventilation in the area. Push down and unscrew to remove the cap, puncture silver seal using a sharp object such as a screwdriver. Ensure container is properly sealed after use.
Application
1. Wearing gloves, use cloths made into pads and moisten them with the cleaner. Use the pad to wipe over the adhesive to be removed. In the case of rubbers, particularly black rubbers, some of the black may appear on the cloth; this is normal.
2. Always repeat the process with another clean pad moistened with cleaner. For removing larger areas of adhesive, it is best to use a new cloth at frequent intervals.
3. The use of a few washings with small quantities of cleaner is far more efficient than a single large washing.
4. Leave cloths outside until fully dry before disposal.
Removing dried adhesive
For dried adhesive, it's important to try to minimise the amount of cleaner used. Therefore, attempt to remove the bulk of the material to be cleaned by mechanical means as this will drastically reduce the amount of cleaner required.

Can Adhesive Cleaner be used on vinyl?
No. EVO-STIK Adhesive Cleaner is not suitable for use on vinyl, polystyrene, cellulose paint or rayon fabrics. Always test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area first to determine its suitability before use.
Does Adhesive Cleaner have an odour?
Yes. EVO-STIK Adhesive Cleaner is solvent-based and has a sweet-smelling odour. Ensure you are working in a well-ventilated area and avoid breathing in the vapours.
How do I prime very porous surfaces before applying Impact Adhesive?
To prime very porous surfaces before using EVO-STIK Impact Adhesive:
1. Prepare only the amount required for immediate use.
2. Dilute EVO-STIK Impact Adhesive with approximately an equal volume of EVO-STIK Adhesive Cleaner in a clean container.
3. Add the cleaner slowly while stirring gently.
4.Stir the mixture thoroughly until well combined.
5. Dispose of any unused mixture after use.
