EVO-STIK Mitre Adhesive kit is an easy-to-use, two-part adhesive consisting of a 50g mitre glue and activator.
It is designed primarily for instantly bonding the mitre joints of skirting boards, picture frames etc., but will also bond many other surfaces. With a higher viscosity than most super-glues, in conjunction with its fast-setting nature, its ideal for use on most porous materials such as wood.
EVO-STIK Mitre Adhesive produces clean, tight, thin joints without a need for clamping, making it a super simple application. Once dry, it provides a water-resistant bond but is not suitable for joints that are continuously immersed in water.
Plus, this EVO-STIK mitre glue has guaranteed Resin 'W' bond strength, for reliable, long-lasting repairs.
Suitable materials: Wood, MDF, porcelain, many rubbers, most common metals, some types of jewellery and most plastics.

How to use
Preparation
1. Work on a protected surface in a well-ventilated area.
2. Make sure all surfaces to be bonded are close fitting, clean and dry.
Application
3. Remove the cap from the bottle of mitre adhesive: on first use cut off the plastic seal on top of the nozzle.
4. Apply a single drop of the adhesive to one surface.
5. Shake the activator can well, and then lightly spray the other surface, in a well-ventilated area.
6. Bring the two together within 30 seconds and press firmly for about 10 seconds.
How to remove
Removal of this adhesive is extremely difficult even when it is uncured. It is advisable to protect any vulnerable surfaces.
- Uncured adhesive: Carefully scrape up excess adhesive and then remove the remains using acetone. It will be almost impossible to remove the uncured adhesive from cloths and porous or rough surfaces.
- Cured adhesive: This can only be removed mechanically. The best time is when it has just cured.
